It seems like I'm the only one out there,

It seems like I'm the only one out there,
Tossed about by currents only I feel.
Growing distant from the hard surface,
The images below seem so unreal.
It gets harder to maintain the tether
And stay attached to my mortal orbit.
I am surrounded by such strange weather,
And I the only one that can ride it.
My wanderings seem to me natural,
But to others the fringes of despair.
Only I seem to perceive these strange calls,
Yet they come across as absence of care.
Higher I am carried by these vapors
Feeling all solar heat and starry cold.
